It takes a while to make sense of somewhere new. We hope the answers to the following frequently asked questions will help you feel welcome and begin to connect.
We meet at 11am in the Upper Room, on the first floor.
A welcomer will greet you on your arrival in the reception area and show you where to go.
A service normally runs for just over an hour. There will be praise and prayer and preaching, carefully woven together.
We preach about Jesus. This means we preach from the Bible, because the Bible is all about him. Our sermons are online.
On the first and third Sunday of the month we share together in Holy Communion, in celebration of Jesus’ presence with us.
We like being together and enjoy one another’s company over refreshments following every service.
On the second and fourth Sunday of the month we stay together for lunch.
The Information Table is set up with your questions in mind, and to give a window in on the life of the church.
Prayer Meetings – Prayer undergirds the life of every church family, and we make a priority of coming together to pray on the first Wednesday of every month. We meet at 7.30pm for one hour, bringing our common thanks and priorities and concerns to God.
Fellowship Groups – These meet midweek in various locations, with the understanding that we need one another for ongoing encouragement and support, if we are to grow in Christ.
Jesus loves children, so we also love and value them as a full part of our family. We begin all our services with everyone together for opening praise and prayer.
Those who are 12 and under then follow their own program in age appropriate groups, learning about Jesus in age appropriate ways.
On the third Sunday of the month, the children rejoin us later in the service for Holy Communion.
Our concern for the wellbeing of both children and leaders ensures that we follow the necessary safeguarding procedures.
